BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Kazakhstan's KazTransOil JSC is going to raise the tariff for oil transportation service through the main pipelines for export outside Kazakhstan, KazTransOil told Trend.
Following the order of the general director (chairman of the management board) of KazTransOil JSC No. 53 dated May 26, 2023, the tariff for the service of KazTransOil JSC for pumping oil through main pipelines for export outside the Republic of Kazakhstan was approved in the amount of 10,150 Kazakh tenge ($22.7) per 1 ton/1000 km without VAT (current tariff: 8,830.51 Kazakh tenge ($19.7) per 1 ton/1000 km without VAT). The mentioned tariff will come into force from July 1, 2023.
Meanwhile, in the first quarter of 2023, KazTransOil JSC witnessed a significant surge in the volume of oil transported through its main pipeline system. The total amount reached 10.3 million tons, marking an impressive growth of 591,000 tons compared to the corresponding period in the previous year.
KazTransOil JSC is an oil pipeline company of the Republic of Kazakhstan that provides services for the transportation of oil to the domestic market, for transit, and for export.
