BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 5. Over the first 4 months of 2023, the US imported some 4.8 million barrels of crude oil and petroleum products from Kazakhstan, Trend reports.
According to the data available, the volume of crude supplied to the US from Kazakhstan in the reporting period stayed broadly unchanged year-on-year (4.79 million barrels over the same period of 2022).
In particular, Kazakhstan supplied almost 1.4 million barrels to the US in January 2023, over 1 million barrels in February, and 2.3 million barrels in April.
It was noted that Kazakhstan did not export any crude to the US in March 2023.
As the data shows, Kazakhstan supplied 12.425 million barrels of crude to the US in 2022, which is an increase of 4 percent year-on-year (11.937 million barrels supplied in 2021).
