ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 5. More than 21.6 million tons of cargo was transported by Kaztemirtrans (KTT) wagons from July through August of this year, Trend reports.
Data of Kazakhstan Railways shows that cargo transported across Kazakhstan amounted to 20.1 million tons, 1.5 million tons of goods were exported.
During the preparation for the heating season, more than 12 million tons of coal were transported by the Kaztemirtrans fleet for thermal power plants, and communal and household needs.
Over 1 million tons of crushed stone were delivered to the western region of the country by Kaztemirtrans wagons for the construction and reconstruction of highways of national importance.
Basically, the wagons of Kaztemirtrans transport bulk cargo, such as coal, grain, flour and grinding products, ore, mineral fertilizers and cement.
