ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 13. KazMunayGas, Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company, has begun searching for a strategic partner for the joint implementation of the new Bolashak subsoil use project, Trend reports.
The name of the new subsoil use project (subsoil area) - “Bolashak”, comes from the Bolashak subsoil area. The location of the subsoil areas is Mangystau region (partially located in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea). The subsoil plot is included in the State Fund Management Program indicating the coordinates and is included in the List of subsoil plot territories for exploration and production or hydrocarbon production for the purpose of granting subsoil use rights to national companies.
The company's minimum requirements for the form of cooperation are: cooperation based on a Joint Venture; share of KazMunayGas in the project is at least 50 percent; inclusion in the minimum work program of drilling two exploration wells (the first well with a depth of 3,500 meters and the second well with a depth of 4,500 meters) and carrying out 3D seismic surveys over an area of 432 square kilometers.
Applications from Organizations with the provision of documents to confirm the Requirements for applicants are submitted no later than 30 calendar days from the date of publication of the announcement.
After 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this announcement, acceptance of applications from organizations ceases, which is published on the corporate website of KazMunayGas.
Applications from organizations with attached documents submitted within the established deadlines are reviewed by KazMunayGas for compliance with the requirements.
KazMunayGas will forward a memorandum of understanding and confidentiality agreement to organizations that meet the requirements for signing.
