ASTANA, Kazakhstan, March 1. Since the beginning of this year, Yuxinou and KTZ have organized a joint service for TITR from Chongqing to Poti (Georgia) with delivery times on average up to 14 days.

To note, since the beginning of 2024, KTZ has reached agreements with the logistics platforms of Xi’an, Jiangsu, Beijing, Zhengzhou, Chongqing to organize and dispatch 3,500 transit container trains through the territory of Kazakhstan, which amounts to about 350,000 TEU.

The Middle Corridor is a transportation and trade route that connects Asia and Europe, passing through several countries in the region. It is an alternative route to the traditional Northern Corridor and Southern Corridor.

The route starts in China and crosses Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. It then passes through the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye before reaching Europe.

The Middle Corridor offers a land route that connects the eastern parts of Asia, including China, with Europe, bypassing the longer maritime routes.
