ALMATY, Kazakhstan, June 28. An official ceremony was held at the Kazakhstan-China Logistics Terminal in the port of Lianyungang to launch a pilot train on the Korea-China-Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan route, Trend reports.
According to Kazakhstan Railways, the event was attended by representatives of the railway administrations of all four countries, which emphasizes its importance for international trade and cooperation.
The train, loaded with automotive spare parts, will travel 7,000 kilometers and open new ways for economic cooperation between the countries.
Moreover, the operator of the route along the territory of Kazakhstan is KTZ Express.
The project will help to develop new opportunities to increase Kazakhstan's transit potential, making it a key transportation hub in the international supply chain.
Meanwhile, Kazakhstan, China, and Russia will sign an Agreement on the creation of a Unified Digital Platform on the China-Kazakhstan-Russia (UDP) route.
The UDP will become an integrated, seamless system that combines customs clearance processes, e-commerce, and other functions. It will significantly simplify logistics, promote the development of e-commerce, simplify customs procedures, reduce trade barriers, and increase the transparency and efficiency of supply chains.
