The new agreement on the air base Manas has been prepared in Kyrgyzstan. Director of Regional Branch of Institute of CIS countries, political scientist, Alexander Knyazev, informed at the press conference, "Kazakhstan Today" agency reports.
"According to the preliminary data, Kyrgyzstan insists on the sum of $350 million per year according to the new agreement. But the final decision will be made at the meeting of the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Russia at the meeting of the SCO leaders in Ekaterinburg," A. Knyazev informed.
"At the meeting of the Presidents of the Russian Federation in July, Dmitry Medvedev and Barak Obama will discuss and may hold an auction deciding destiny of the air base Manas," he informed.
