Presidents of Russia and Kyrgyzstan will finally discuss establishment of joint anti-terrorist center in Kyrgyzstan in November, 2009, Alexander Knyazev, Director of the Regional Office of the CIS Countries Institute said at the press conference in the news agency 24.kg Thursday.

An appropriate agreement should be signed by Kurmanbek Bakiev and Dmitry Medvedev on November 1, as location of the centre is being discussed at the time.

In Knyazev's opinion, Russia is interested in an anti-terrorist centre nearby Osh, as there is good infrastructure, communication services, newly repaired, equipped airport and landing strip.

"Kyrgyz side insists on Batken region but Russia is interested in Osh infrastructure, which can be used for new tasks," the expert said.
