Education strategy until 2020 is worked out in Kyrgyzstan, Abdylda Musaev, the Kyrgyz Education and Science Minister said Monday at a round table discussion School realia in the light of international and national children's rights observance standards, news agency "24.kg" reported.
The document will contribute to gradual implementation of the reforms. "Education does not accept cardinal, dramatic changes. Those, which we carry out nowadays, will bring their results only in 5-10 years. For example, we work on preschool, out-of-school education projects, supply of schools with teaching materials. Besides, Kyrgyzstan was the first CIS country which passed Preschool education law, allowing development of the institutions in the country," the minister said.
In official's view, heavy workload of school students remains an urgent problem in Kyrgyzstan. "We draw up new curricula which will be introduced in education process in the nearest future," he added.
