Latvian drug mule was nabbed in the Bishkek airport Manas with 5.3kg of heroin, Abdylda Maldybayev, head of the state customs press service told 24.kg news agency.
Kyrgyz customs officers have held a 19-year-old pregnant Zhistin Yanuskayte while she was checking in for a flight. As it turned out, the woman tried to smuggle heroin in a hand-bag and in books large lot of heroin. Notwithstanding that she is a student, Zhistin engaged in drug trafficking from Tajikistan for some years. Besides she was on the wanted list in Russian and in Baltics.
At present moment she is under arrest. Officers initiated a criminal case on the fact of drug trafficking. The investigation is ongoing.
