Michael McFaul, Special Assistant to the U.S. President for National Security Affairs is due to arrive in Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs, news agency "24.kg" reported.

McFaul arrives for talks with the President of transition period of Kyrgyzstan Roza Otunbayeva and other members of the interim government.

Special Assistant to the U.S. President for National Security Affairs and the new Kyrgyz authorities will discuss the evolving situation in the south, as well as issues related to stabilization and prevention of further unrests.
