Kyrgyz parliament officials to visit detention centers
Zhogorku Kenesh committee members on health, social policy, employment and migration are going to visit detention centers of the republic, 24.kg reported. Such a decision was initiated by the profile committee chairman Damira Niyazalieva.
According to her, MPs have to see the conditions in prisons. "I've visited such places. We have colonies, where we held women with babies. The conditions provoke development of various infectious diseases," she explained.
She noted that there will be a schedule of visits by deputies of the colonies and prisons.
