The work of Kyrgyz Kambarata 2 hydro-electric power station is temporary stopped in accordance with great water flow. The head of the station, Bektursun Kachkankulov, reported to 24.kg news agency .
According to him, "water volume in Toktogul reservoir is more than 18 billion cubic meters." "In the next few days it is possible that it will be 19 billion. Not to drain a vain the hydro-electric power station has been stopped," explained Bektursun Kachkankulov.
He added that the necessary volume of water is stored in reservoir and the rest of the water is drained through service spillway construction. "We are ready to restart the work of the station in any time because there is no trouble," concluded Bektursun Kachkankulov.
