Kyrgyz Ar-Namys faction majority decides change the leader
In Kyrgyzstan the majority of the Ar-Namys parliamentary faction decided to change the leader, the own sources in the faction informed 24.kg news agency.
Reportedly, yesterday on September 12, at a closed session it was decided to adopt a new statute of the faction which should mention that the leader of the faction would be rotated annually. "In the end it was decided to dismiss the faction leader Felix Kulov and to appoint Kamila Taliyeva to the post of the faction head. The decision was supported by 15 of 25 members of the faction. It is worth noting that at first 7 people were claiming for the post. Akylbek Zhaparov, Tokon Mamytov, Anvar Artykov have recused themselves; Zamir Bekboyev, Kanybek Imanaliyev and Abdyrakhman Mamataliyev voted for Kamila Taliyeva," the source noted.
The decision of the faction dated from July 5, 2011 to exclude the members of the faction Anvar Artykov and То kon Mamytov was recognized invalid, as it contradicts the Constitution and the new statute of the faction.
