Some 43 OSCE observers to monitor Kyrgyz presidential elections

The Kyrgyz Central Electoral Commission [CEC] has accredited 43 international long-term observers from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, 24.kg news agency reported.

The CEC made such a decision in its regular meeting.

The CECs of Russia and Belarus have also sent their representatives to monitor the election process in Kyrgyzstan. Two people will work as observers from Russia and another two from Belarus.

The Interparliamentary Assembly of the Eurasian Economic Community and the Turkish embassy have also sent applications for accreditation - two persons from the EAEC and one representative from the Turkish embassy.

The presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan are scheduled for Oct. 30.
