The United Nations system will render aid to Kyrgyzstan in the form of a grant in the amount of $ 186 million in the strategic plan for 2012-2016. The resident coordinator of the system in Kyrgyzstan Alexander Avanesov stated at the today's ceremony on the occasion of the UN Day holding in Kyrgyz National Philharmonic Hall named for T.Satylganov, 24.kg news agency reported.

According to him, the funds will be for the solving the most urgent tasks of development. "In particular, it is assumed to be the development of national infrastructure allowing the society and government to resolve conflicts internally based on their skills, institutions and resources; eradication of the fundamental sources of social injustice and increasing availability of quality education, health and basic services; attainment of gender equality, human rights and youth development as the basic prerequisite of long-term, sustainable and peaceful development of the society," said Alexander Avanesov.
