Preliminary election results will be announced in the morning on October 31. The chairman of the Central Electoral Commission on Elections and Referendums Tuigunaly Abdraimov told KyrTAG during the live broadcast on Sunday.

"Preliminary election results will be known in the morning on October 31. Information about how many voters voted, and who leads will be given "- said Abdraimov.

According to the head of the CEC, at 8 am on 30 October 2289 polling stations were opened, 29 of them abroad. In Bishkek - 204, Osh - 71, Chuy region - 396, Talas region - 116, Osh region - 479, Naryn region - 165, Jalal-Abad region - 417, Issyk-Kul region - 241, Batken regon - 198.

337 people voted before going abroad.

"We have agreed that the citizens can vote at their place of residence. Thus, in Bishkek, the number of voters increased by 84 thousand people. On the eve 55279 voted. People traveling abroad were able to vote 9 days before the elections ", - said the CEC head.

The elections are monitored by observers from 56 countries worldwide.

16 candidates claim for the presidency.
