The Kyrgyz parliament has ratified an agreement on cooperation of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) in the development, production, exploitation, upgrading, extension of operation life and utilisation of military products, Kyrgyz Parliament said on Thursday.

MPs adopted a bill 'On ratification of agreement on cooperation of the CSTO member states in the development, production, exploitation, upgrading and extension of operation life and utilisation of military products' in the third reading.

As the Kyrgyz Economic Regulation Minister Uchkunbek Tashbayev said, entry of regulations coming into force would enable the Kyrgyz Republic to partake in joint international programmes, as well as hold joint research and applied research, advanced scientific and technical, technological, industrial and other developments, KyrTAG reported.

As is noted, regulations on the development, financing and implementation of the CSTO targeted intergovernmental programmes were signed by heads of the organisation's member states in Moscow on Sept. 5 2008.
