Kyrgyz company to transfer $3.2 mln to pay off its gas debt to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan

Kyrgyz national enterprise Kyrgyzjilkomunsoyuz will transfer 150 mln soms ($3.2 mln) to Kyrgyzgaz Company to pay off its debt, KyrTAG quoted Eugenie Orlenko, deputy director of Kyrgyzgaz Company, as saying.
"Kyrgyzjilkomunsoyuz will transfer 150 mln soms, which, in its turn will be used for pay off the debt to Uzbek and Kazakh gas suppliers," Orlenko said.
Earlier Kaztransgaz and Uztransgaz companies urged Kyrgyzstan to pay off the debt till Feb. 10.
Orlenko said the fuel deliveries will be ceased if Kyrgyzgaz does not pay $6.811 mln to Kazakh and Uzbek gas suppliers by Feb. 10.
Furthermore, Bishkekteploset municipal company's debt to Kyrgyzgaz at 133 mln soms ($2.84 mln) should also be settled, he added.
Reportedly, Kyrgyzgaz's has owed more than $5 million to Kazakhstan and more than $1 million - to Uzbekistan as for early 2012.
