Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 16 / Trend V. Zhavoronkova/

The World Bank (WB) is ready to allocate $30 million for social development in Kyrgyzstan, KyrTAG quotes WB's representative Anastasia Alexandrova as saying on Thursday.

The funds will be allocated within the program of budgetary support to policy development for 2012-2014, she added.

The funds will be directed at supporting vulnerable segment of population.

Alexandrova said the WB is worried that only small part of Kyrgyzstan's population is covered by social support.

Kyrgyz side stated that the country's government actively works in this direction and is going to improve the country's social fund system.
