The problem with the level of air pollution in Bishkek and the surrounding area will be solved at the government level, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov stated at his first press conference on the results of 2018, Trend reports referring to kabar.kg.
He pointed out that the detrimental effect of a number of factors on the ecology of the capital is a pressing issue on the agenda of the Cabinet and state bodies.
“The Prime Minister gave specific tasks to each of the departments to improve the ecological state of Bishkek. This is a problem of the future. Here firm and long-term measures should be taken,” Jeenbekov said.
He also added that this issue will be kept under control of the relevant authorities.
