BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. Kyrgyzstan agreed to provide e-invoices with QR code for all goods exported to Kazakhstan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov said in a post on his Facebook page, Trend reports.
Sultanov together with the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Arzybek Kozhoshev visited the border between the two countries on April 24. During the visit, they got acquainted with the situation of cargo crossing at the border, and also examined the location of the future industrial trade and logistics complex.
Sultanov added that during inspection of the border, the both sides inspected the effectiveness of decisions to eliminate the queues of import and transit flows of road carriers.
"We have been actively discussing ways of correcting enhanced cargo control and, as a result, congestion at the border. As a result, the Kyrgyz side agreed to ensure the availability of e-invoice with a QR code for all goods exported from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan. Now, in Kyrgyzstan, drivers are even given reminders that they must draw up an e-invoice before approaching the border. Only for the goods being transported with e-invoice and if these inspection complexes at the border comply with it, border checks will not be carried out,” Sultanov said.
"It will be impossible to deceive anyone because checkpoints have modern equipment - scanners that easily recognize unaccounted goods. Furthermore, the goal remains the same: we must strengthen our collaboration as significant trade and economic partners in the region. This was also one of the major topics on our negotiation agenda," Sultanov said.
