BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 5. London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) put “Kyrgyzaltyn” gold refinery back on Good Delivery’s list, Trend reports citing the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.

The LBMA is regarded as the most prestigious accrediting institution for precious metals companies. Kyrgyzaltyn has been on the LBMA’s Good Delivery List (gold and silver refiners who are accredited by the LBMA to supply gold and silver bars into the London market) since 1999.

The decision to exclude Kyrgyzaltyn from its list of reliable suppliers was made for non-compliance with the requirements of responsible deliveries in September 2021.

"Kyrgyzaltyn managed to go through three stages of the technical audit and achieve all the necessary LBMA procedures in order to confirm compliance," the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kyrgyzaltyn, Zhenish Seydaliev, said.

Chief Executive of the LBMA, Ruth Crowell, for her part, expressed gratitude for Kyrgyzaltyn's efforts and highly appreciated the company's current policy on working with the LBMA.

Meanwhile, Kyrgyzaltyn's recognition as an LBMA Good Delivery places Kyrgyzstan's precious metals refining industry among the best in the world.
