BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 13. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan shared data on state reserve assets in March 2022, Trend reports via financial report of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
According to a bank statement, Kyrgyzstan’s state reserve assets in March 2022 amounted to $2.5 billion, while foreign currency reserves totaled $1.3 billion.
Kyrgyzstan’s National Bank reserves in special borrowing funds (SDRs) reached $398 million in the reporting period.
Official reserve assets and other assets in foreign currency accounts in USD according to the official exchange rate of foreign currencies with respect to Kyrgyz som, except SDR assets. Assets, denominated in SDR, are recounted in US dollars at the rate of SDR, which is fixed by IMF.
