BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 28. The implementation of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction project can be a significant step towards the full disclosure of the region's transit potential, said president of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Trend reports via press service of the Kyrgyz President.
During the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting, Zhaparov emphasized that the practical implementation of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction project would connect not only countries involved in a project, but also many countries and regions of the entire Eurasian continent.
He also noted that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to its participation in the SCO and confirms the need to further deepen cooperation. The development of trade, economic, transport and logistics ties between the countries of the SCO is seen as an essential direction of the SCO's activity.
