BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 15. Kyrgyzstan recorded increase in revenues from mining in Kyrgyzstan from January through May 2022, Trend reports via National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.

The total amount of revenues from mining in Kyrgyzstan from January through May 2022, amounted to 16.6 billion soums ($209.7 million) - an increase of 7.7 percent compared to the same period of 2021 (15.4 soums or $194.1 million)

According to the committee, Kyrgyzstan's incomes from crude oil and natural gas extraction from January through May 2022 totaled 3.9 billion soums ($50 million).

Revenues from bituminous and brown coal extraction in Kyrgyzstan in the reporting period amounted to 1.8 billion soums ($22.6 million).

Meanwhile, the total amount of revenues from metal ores in Kyrgyzstan from January through May 2022 amounted to 10.6 billion soums ($134.3 million).
