BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 30. In the next 2-3 years, Kyrgyzstan plans to increase value of gross domestic product (GDP) to 1 trillion soms ($12.5 billion), said Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov, Trend reports via press service of the Kyrgyz government.

According to him, for 1.5 years under the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, GDP indicators of the country have stabilized, also, there is a positive trend in the growth of the country's economy. In the first five months of 2022, Kyrgyzstan's GDP growth amounted to 5.7 percent.

"The nominal indicator of GDP in 2021 was 723.1 billion soms ($9 billion), this year the forecast is 824 billion soms ($10.3 billion), and in 2024 the forecast is 926 billion soms ($11.6 billion)," Zhaparov said.

Moreover, in 2024 Kyrgyzstan plans to increase the volume of budget revenues to 600 billion soms ($7.5 billion).
