BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 10. Kyrgyzstan's grain harvest volume as of July 23, 2022 significantly increased, Trend reports citing the National Statistical Committee.
According to the Committee, Kyrgyzstan's grain harvest in the reporting period amounted to 641,200 tons, which is almost 2.3 times more compared to the same period of 2021 (284,800 tons).
The wheat harvest in Kyrgyzstan reached 340,200 tons, which is a twofold increase compared to the same period of 2021 (169,300 tons).
At the same time, the country's barley crop amounted to 300,300 tons, which is 2.6 times more compared to the same period of last year (115,100 tons).
Meanwhile, the total volume of Kyrgyzstan's wheat harvest in 2021 amounted to 362,000 tons and barley - 274,000 tons.
