BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 10. The volume of money transfers from Kyrgyzstan to Russia slightly increased in June 2022, Trend reports citing the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the statistical data, money transfers from Kyrgyzstan to Russia in June increased by 2.7 percent compared to May ($80.1 million) - up to $82.3 million.
At the same time, the volume of remittances from Russia to Kyrgyzstan in June amounted to $302.7 million, which is an increase of 23.2 percent compared to May 2022 ($245.6 million).
Meanwhile, the total amount of money transfers from Kyrgyzstan from January through June 2022 reached $361.8 million.
