BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 7. Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev met with the President of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Sohn Hyuk-Sang, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.

During the meeting, Amangeldiev and Hyuk-Sang underlined the importance of continuing projects aimed at the socio-economic development and welfare of citizens of Kyrgyzstan.

"KOICA is currently implementing in Kyrgyzstan 10 projects worth more than $48 million, in public administration, agriculture, digitalization, healthcare and regional development, along with a human resource development program and a volunteer program" the message said.

As a result of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on further fruitful cooperation in priority areas for the coming years.

Meanwhile, this year, Kyrgyzstan and South Korea are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
