BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 25. The Mayor of the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Emilbek Abdykadyrov, has met with an expert group from China on the Bishkek road network development project, Trend reports citing the Bishkek City Hall.
During the meeting, issues of the implementation of the third phase of the project for the development of the road network of Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek on a grant basis from the Chinese government were discussed.
According to the Chinese side, a feasibility study for the project will be developed within 28 days. The third phase of the project involves the construction of road facilities that will increase vehicle capacity in Bishkek.
Earlier, it was reported that the construction of large transport interchanges in Bishkek is planned in March 2023.
Notably, with the assistance of the Government of China, a total of 135 roads with a length of 200 km have already been built in Bishkek.
