BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 12. Kyrgyzstan's industrial production from January through November 2022 increased over the year,Trend reports with reference to the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to statistics, the value of industrial production in Kyrgyzstan during the reporting period amounted to 383.2 billion soms ($4.5 billion), which is an increase of 14 percent over the same period in 2021.
The growth of industrial production in Kyrgyzstan from January through November 2022 was due to an increase in output:
- base metals - by 30 percent,
- wood products and paper products - by 29.3 percent,
- petroleum products - by 14.4 percent,
- food products (including drinks) and tobacco products - by 11.2 percent,
- extraction of minerals - by 8.5 percent).
Remarkably, during this period, the share of industry in the GDP of Kyrgyzstan amounted to 18.2 percent.
