BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 23. The value of Kyrgyzstan's exports of goods to Russia substantially increased in 11 months of 2022, Trend reports citing the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to statistics, the export of goods from Kyrgyzstan to Russia amounted to $917 million from January through November 2022, which is 2.5 more compared to the same period in 2021 ($358.1 million).
During the reporting period, the main Kyrgyz export commodities to Russia were textile products, cotton, copper, agricultural products, etc.
At the same time, Russian exports to Kyrgyzstan increased by 25 percent in 11 months of 2022 in comparison to the corresponding period of 2021 ($1.6 billion) - up to $2 billion.
One of the priority areas of the Kyrgyz-Russian partnership is the expansion and development of trade and economic cooperation. According to official data, Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover with Russia amounted to $2.4 billion in 2022, which became a record high in the history of trade relations between the countries.
