Kyrgyzstan increases volume of market services in 2M2023

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30. The volume of market services in Kyrgyzstan from January through February 2023 amounted to 127.7 billion soms ($1.4 billion), which is 12.7 percent more than the same period of 2022, Trend reports via the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.

The volume of market services provided to the population totaled 88.4 billion soms ($1 billion) increasing by 11.5 percent year-on-year.

The largest increase of 2.4 times occurred in the services provided in the real estate – 3.7 billion soms ($42.3 million).

The volume of market services has increased in all regions of the country from January through February 2023.

The highest growth rate was recorded in the city of Bishkek (16.9 percent), the Jalal-Abad region (14.9 percent), and the Batken region (9.6 percent).

The volume of market services in Kyrgyzstan in 2022 amounted to 1.1 trillion soms ($12.5 billion), which is an increase of 7.1 percent compared to 2021.

The volume of market services provided to the population totaled 758.9 billion soms ($8.6 billion) increasing by 7.7 percent year-on-year.
