BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects the real GDP growth in Kyrgyzstan at the level of 3.5 percent in 2023, which coincides with IMF’s earlier prediction, Trend reports with reference to the IMF’s World Economic Outlook.

IMF forecasts the real GDP growth in the country to slightly level up in 2024 (3.8 percent), and to reach 4 percent in 2028.

According to the IMF, the real GDP growth in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 7 percent in 2022.

Meanwhile, the World Bank projected Kyrgyzstan's GDP growth at 3.5 percent in 2023, before strengthening to 4 percent in 2024.

At the same time, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) believes the real GDP growth in Kyrgyzstan at 4.5 percent in 2023 and at 4 percent in 2024.

Moreover, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan forecasts the real GDP growth at 3.4 percent in 2023, and at 3.8 percent in 2024.
