BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 6. Shares of Kyrgyzneftegaz company (oil and gas-producing enterprise of Kyrgyzstan) have been included into the listing of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange (KSE), Trend reports via the Stock Exchange.
The decision was made following the meeting of the listing committee at KSE on May 4.
According to the agency, the latest transactions with shares of Kyrgyzneftegaz on KSE trading platform were recorded at an average price of 250 soms ($2.86).
The company's dividends have been growing at a steady pace in recent years, KSE said.
As for Kyrgyzneftegaz, the company's net profit amounted to over 3.4 billion soms ($38.9 million) in 2022, which is 1.5 times more than in 2021.
Kyrgyzneftegaz specializes in the exploration and production of oil and gas across Kyrgyzstan, in territories that are rich with hydrocarbons. The main shareholder of the company is the state, represented by the State Property Management Fund under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyzneftegaz operates in the Jalal-Abad and Batken regions of the country, develops discovered fields, and conducts geological exploration in the oil and gas regions of the country in order to increase its resource potential and hydrocarbon production.
