BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 12. Türkiye exported to Kyrgyzstan pharmaceutical products for $1.6 million from January through March 2023, Trend reports via Turkish State Institute.
According to the statistics, the figure increased by 21 percent compared to the same period in 2022 ($1.3 million).
As for 2022, Türkiye exported to Kyrgyzstan pharmaceutical products for $6.7 million last year, which is 15.1 percent more than in 2021 ($5.8 million).
Meanwhile, trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye in 1Q2023 amounted to $329 million, increasing by 78 percent compared to 1Q2022 ($184.4 million).
During the period under review, the exports from Türkiye to Kyrgyzstan made up $265.3 million, which is 63.3 percent more than in 1Q2022.
The imports by Türkiye from Kyrgyzstan made up $63.6 million, increasing by 187 percent compared to $22.1 million in the same period of 2022.
Turkish statistical data shows that trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye amounted to $931.5 million in 2022, increasing by 21 percent over $769.4 million in 2021.
The export from Türkiye to Kyrgyzstan made up $853.1 million last year, growing by 19.7 percent over $712.2 million in 2021.
Imports by Türkiye from Kyrgyzstan reached $78.4 million, which is 37 percent more than in 2021 ($57.1 million)
