BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 12. The value of exports of plastic and plastic products from Türkiye to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $4 million from January through March 2023, Trend reports via the Turkish Statistical Institute.
The figure decreased by 11 percent, compared to $4.5 million in the corresponding period of 2022.
At the same time, Türkiye exported to Kyrgyzstan rubber and rubber products for $621,003 in 1Q2023, which is 52.5 percent less than in 1Q2022 ($1.3 million).
Trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye reached $329 million from January through March 2023, increasing by 78 percent compared to the same period in 2022 ($184. 4 million).
During the period under review, the exports from Türkiye to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $265.3 million, which is 63.3 percent more than in 1Q2022.
The imports by Türkiye from Kyrgyzstan made up $63.6 million, increasing by 187 percent compared to $22.1 million in the same period of 2022.
Turkish statistical data shows that trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye amounted to $931.5 million in 2022, increasing by 21 percent over $769.4 million in 2021.
The export from Türkiye to Kyrgyzstan made up $853.1 million last year, growing by 19.7 percent over $712.2 million in 2021.
Imports by Türkiye from Kyrgyzstan amounted to $78.4 million, which is 37 percent more than in 2021 ($57.1 million)
