BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, July 5. Revenues to the national budget from the Sate Custom Service of Kyrgyzstan amounted to 9.8 billion soms ($112 million) in June 2023, Trend reports.
According to the service, the figure represents an increase of 1.4 billion soms ($16 million) or 17.3 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
The collected revenue has exceeded the planned targets set by the Ministry of Finance, reaching a 106 percent fulfillment rate. During this period, the collected amount exceeded the planned figure by an additional 558.4 million soms ($6.3 million).
In May 2023, the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan contributed revenues of 9.6 billion soms ($109.8 million) to the national budget.
These figures surpassed the planned targets set by the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyzstan by a 122.5 percent, resulting in an excess collection of 1.8 billion soms ($20.5 million).
The contribution of customs revenues to the state budget of Kyrgyzstan reached an all-time high in 2022. The total amount of customs fees collected amounted to 74 billion soms ($863.6 million), marking a significant increase of 57.8 percent compared to the previous year's figure of 46.9 billion soms ($547.3 million).
