BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, August 1. The volume of market services in the Kyrgyzstan's Osh city amounted to 47.6 billion Kyrgyz soms ($542.25 million) from January through June this year, Trend reports.
The volume of market services for the first 6 months of this year is almost 10.5 billion Kyrgyz soms ($119.61 million) more than the indicators of the same period in 2022.
The index of the physical volume of industrial products for the first half of this year amounted to 89.8 percent, capital investments - 105.7 percent, freight transport - 107.5 percent, passenger transport - 100.1 percent, wholesale and retail turnover was made by 109.4 percent.
Industrial enterprises of Osh city in the first half of last year manufactured products worth 4.08 billion Kyrgyz soms ($46.47 million), which is 463.1 million Kyrgyz soms ($5.27 million) more than in the corresponding period last year, and the growth rate was 112.8 percent.
Furthermore, 71 enterprises were opened in the industrial sector and 450 new jobs were created, and the amount of attracted investments amounted to 213.3 million Kyrgyz soms ($2.42 million).
The total volume of gross output in the construction sector from January through June 2023 amounted to 2.15 billion Kyrgyz soms ($24.49 million), which increased by 5.2 percent or 205 million Kyrgyz soms ($2.33 million) compared to the first half of last year.
