BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, August 24. The sales of products from Kyrgyzstan on the Russian Wildberries online platform amounted to 9.2 billion rubles ($97.5 million) from January through June 2023, Trend reports.
The total number of local business representatives registered on the platform grew by 2.4 times over the year. In the first half of the year, the delivery speed of goods nearly doubled.
In the beginning of 2023, the online platform launched a support program for sellers in Kyrgyzstan who intend to start their businesses with the company.
In the first half of the year, two logistics centers were launched in Kyrgyzstan: in Bishkek and Osh cities. Additionally, the first partner order pickup points were opened for customers in the Chuy region.
The press service of Wildberries previously told Trend that the online platform is actively promoting partnerships with small businesses in CIS countries. This strategic initiative aims to provide opportunities for local entrepreneurs to enter the online market, introduce their brands, and facilitate the sale of their products across all countries where Wildberries operates.
