BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, August 25. There are plans to construct a class "A" warehouse for direct supplies of components and spare parts from South Korean "Samsung Electronics" and finished products from "LG Electronics" in Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, a corresponding memorandum was signed between the South Korean "EcoVis International" and Kyrgyzstan’s "Profi Center LLC regarding intentions to build a class "A" warehouse within the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
This warehouse will receive direct supplies of consumer electronics, such as televisions, refrigerators, microwaves, vacuum cleaners, washing machines, and more, from "LG Electronics", as well as spare parts from "Samsung Electronics".
Officials from the Kyrgyz Ministry, along with representatives from Korean companies including "HYUNDAI Corporation", "HD HYUNDAI Infracore", and "EcoVis International" participated in a conference in Kazakhstan’s Almaty from August 22 through August 24.
During the meeting, they discussed the potential establishment of logistics centers and enhancements to cargo storage and transportation facilities in collaboration with the Korean companies.
The Kyrgyz delegation also visited the warehouses (classes "A" and "B") of "Samsung Electronics" and "LG Electronics" in Almaty. Representatives from these companies shared insights into warehouse management, cargo delivery, and related operations.
