BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, October 2. Kyrgyzstan's consolidated budget revenues are projected to reach around 600.7 billion soms ($6.7 billion) in 2024, Akylbek Japarov, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, said, Trend reports.
He noted that if this year's revenues are at 45 billion soms ($507 million) per month, then in 2024, this figure should be no less than 50 billion soms ($563 million) per month.
Japarov also highlighted that the forecasted GDP of Kyrgyzstan is expected to reach 1.464 trillion soms ($16 billion) in 2024.
According to the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan, when the budget for 2023 was approved, the revenues were planned at the level of 503.4 billion soms ($5.6 billion).
Based on the results of the first six months of the current year, it is expected that by the end of 2023, the revenues of the consolidated budget will reach 557.5 billion soms ($6.2 billion).
The consolidated budget includes: the republican budget; local budgets (excluding transfers from the republican budget); budgets of the Social Fund and the Health Insurance Fund (excluding transfers from the republican budget).
