BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, November 13. Currently, fuel prices in Kyrgyzstan remain stable, with no sharp price spikes or shortages, Trend reports.
This information was announced by the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan. According to the service, among the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member countries, Kyrgyzstan ranked fourth in terms of prices for RON-92 gasoline and diesel fuel as of November 13. The average price per liter of RON-92 in the country was 64 soms ($0.72), while diesel fuel was priced at 69.8 soms ($0.78) on November 13.
The prices recorded in the country on November 1 were not much different – 64.1 soms ($0.72) for RON-92 and 69.1 soms ($0.77) for diesel fuel.
Among the EAEU countries, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Belarus had lower prices for these types of fuel. Conversely, RON-92 and diesel fuel were more expensive in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Armenia.
However, unlike Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Belarus have their own raw material base and engage in the production of petroleum products.
