BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, December 9. A total of 210,968 tons of organic products have been manufactured in Kyrgyzstan from January through November 2023, Trend reports.
Data from Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Agriculture shows that among this figure, 204,440 tons belonged to horticulture products, while 6,527 tons were attributed to livestock products.
Of this total organic agricultural output, 6,391 tons are earmarked for export, with 3,165 tons coming from certified farms eligible for international export.
During the same period, Kyrgyzstan's exports of agricultural products totaled 818,972 tons, which is an increase of 231,805 tons compared to the corresponding period in 2022 (587,167 tons). Key exports encompassed vegetables, fruits, nuts, leguminous crops, potatoes, dried fruits, and seedlings.
Conversely, Kyrgyzstan imported 838,183 tons of agricultural products from January through November 2023.
