BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, February 24. Kyrgyzstan exported 9.176 million liters of motor gasoline in 2023, which is 11 times more than the 766,900 liters exported in 2022, Trend reports.
According to the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, this export value reached $4.192 million, increasing by 13 percent compared to $316,700 in 2022.
The majority of the motor gasoline was exported to Uzbekistan, amounting to 8.475 million liters valued at $3.874 million. The volume of these exports increased by 37 percent compared to 2022 (229,100 liters), and the value rose by 32 percent ($118,900 in 2022).
Additionally, 700,000 liters were exported to Afghanistan, valued at $317,800.
Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover reached $15.660 billion in 2023, which is a 29.9 percent increase compared to 2022 ($12.057 billion). The country's exports totaled $3.308 billion, rising by 46.8 percent year-on-year ($2.254 billion in 2022). Imports to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $12.352 billion, which is 26 percent higher than $9.803 billion in 2022.
