BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 18. Hungarian Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs Péter Szijjártó will visit Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports via the country's Foreign Ministry.
"At the invitation of Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev, Péter Szijjártó will visit Kyrgyzstan on September 19, 2024, for an official visit," the ministry said.
During the visit, the fourth meeting of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Strategic Council will be held, where the foreign ministries of both countries will discuss the prospects for bilateral and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary.
Data from the National Statistics Committee of Kyrgyzstan shows that trade turnover with Hungary from January through July amounted to $7.7 million, a decrease of 7.4 percent compared to the same period in 2023 ($8.3 million).
