A number of documents have been signed following the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Dushanbe Sept.12, Avesta.Tj reported.
In particular, the Dushanbe Declaration of the SCO member states heads has been signed.
The signed documents also included the SCO member states heads' decisions "On the type memorandum on the applicant state's liabilities in obtaining the status of the SCO member", "On approving the procedure of granting a status of the SCO member", "On the project for SCO development strategy until 2025".
Among the documents inked following the SCO Summit there are also the decisions "On the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the victory over fascism in the WWII", "On the procedure of terminating the decision of the SCO Heads of State Council", "On approving the provision on the SCO symbols", "On approving the report of the SCO Secretary General on the SCO's activity last year", and "On approving the report of the Council of SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure and on the activity of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure in 2013".
An agreement between the governments of the SCO member states on facilitation of international road transport was signed as well.
Tajikistan's president Emomali Rahmon believes that the SCO summit was constructive.
One of the SCO's goals is to strengthen the international authority of this organization, the attractiveness of which is growing from year to year, according to Rahmon.
"All this indicates that the SCO's potential is great. Our common goal is to reveal it", he said at the briefing following the summit.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization includes Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. Observer states are Afghanistan, India, Iran, Mongolia, and Pakistan. Belarus, Turkey and Sri Lanka have a status of partners in dialogue.
