Tajikairnavigation increases provision of aircraft services

DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, July 8. “Tajikairnavigation”, a state unitary enterprise of Tajikistan, and its subsidiaries, serviced 25,264 aircraft from January through June 2023, Trend reports.

As was announced at a meeting summarizing the company’s activities, the provided services increased 20 percent compared to the same period of 2022.

One of the key achievements during this period is the modernization of navigation systems and the implementation of new technologies, which have significantly improved the accuracy and reliability of aeronavigation operations.

In addition, two agreements on cooperation and coordination between the airports of Dushanbe and Tashkent, Dushanbe and Samarkand, were signed as part of the development of intergovernmental cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan during the first half of the current year

In the first six months of 2023, measures have been undertaken to enhance the radio-technical support of flights and navigation communication through collaborations with technical representatives from companies such as "Peleng" from Russia, "Zamar" from Switzerland, and "Ceragon" from Israel.

At the meeting, the necessity of active international cooperation with organizations and other countries was emphasized to facilitate the exchange of experiences and transfer advanced navigation technologies.

“Tajikairnavigation” is the organization that takes care of air navigation services in Tajikistan. It was established by the government on October 1, 2008.

Since January 16, 2009, “Tajikairnavigation” has been providing services for safe and efficient air travel. They ensure that air traffic runs smoothly on designated air routes, local air routes, and around civil aviation airports in Tajikistan.
