DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, March 15. Belgium exported 157.2 tons of chemicals to Tajikistan from January through November 2023, which is 4.3 percent less than 164.3 tons in the same months of 2022, Trend reports.
According to the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency, the value of
exports were 9.98 million euros, up 3.5 times from 2.821 million
euros in the same months of 2022.
Trade turnover between Tajikistan and Belgium totaled 47.5 million
euros from January to November 2023, up 30 percent from 36.5
million euros in January-November 2022.
Tajikistan's exports to Belgium totaled 32.2 million euros, up 12.2
percent year on year. Tajikistan's imports from Belgium totaled
15.3 million euros from January to November 2023, an increase of
97.5 percent year on year.
According to Tajikistan's Statistical Agency, the country's foreign
trade turnover would reach $8.328 billion in 2023, up 13.9 percent,
or $1.019 billion, from the previous year.
